Allright! I just received a carrier pigeon note from my "Usually Reliable Source" who is well placed in the company. In a continuation of the policy to attract a younger buyer, Buell has acquired the rights to manufacture Big Wheels. The idea is to snag them young, then when they get older, brand loyalty will keep them buying new Buells. My source tells me that this concept came straight from the upper echelons of the Marketing Dept at HDI. We can expect to see the new models in time for the Spring surge in sales. At present, the new models are undergoing extensive testing in both western Siberia and the Sahara Desert to insure durability in all weather conditions.

I hear also of a recently developed model for the UK/Irish/Australian market in right hand drive form.

The perfect upgrade: An all-new, air cooled, fuel-injected TWO-STROKE engine.

It's perfect for Buell: Lightweight, muy muy simple (no valvetrain AT ALL), wicked powerful, and "different in every sense" from conventional sportbike orthodoxy.

You can rev out the things to shut up those who aren't happy with merely torquey engines, and fitted with expansion chambers, they even have the requisite goofy-looking exhaust system.

Hell, my 28-year-old Kwak 750 smoker makes 70 HP. I shudder to think what Erik could get from a modern literbike ...

If Bimota ever managed to get the VDue to work, THAT would be an awesome combination with an XB chassis

Anon...That is one scary thought. The logic pattern makes no sense. Why they would incorporate the Chopperesque Big Wheels to promote Buell Sport Bikes?

It looks as though HDI is promoting HD with BMC's budget. Good luck in your future endeavors. LOL

It's the same logical thinking that hired Elton John as the big closing act for the 100th Anniversary.

Thanks Koz...I luv you too!!!

Hint: When I get ready for a Trike...It won't have a motorcycle engine and wheelie bars will be standard equipment.
