But he still hasn't reached his best one . . . . clear out in the "Blago-sphere".

"I've never talked to the Governor" - Barack in the morning.

"I know he's been in close contact with the Governor" - Rahm in the afternoon.

I long for another administration that can get their lies straight . . heck, Nixon played Watergate for a couple of years and even Clinton, fresh off no less than 9 prior sexcapades, had us believing "I never had sex . . . "

C'mon guys . . . you're from Chicago . . you can lie, you know you can!

A quick quote from above.

During a famine, Lenin ordered his followers not to alleviate but to take advantage of mass starvation:

It is precisely now and only now when in the starving regions people are eating human flesh, and hundreds if not thousands of corpses are littering the roads, that we can (and therefore must) carry out the confiscation of church valuables with the most savage and merciless energy.
“an (and therefore must)”: Leninist and Soviet ideology held not just that the end justifies any means, but also that it was immoral not to use the utmost cruelty if that would help. And it was bound to help in at least one way—intimidating the population. From the beginning, terror was not just an expedient but a defining feature of Soviet Communism.

A crisis is too good to waste at getting what you want done, when you know it won't happen if people knew you were doing it.

History does not repeat. It Rhymes.

Personally, I've never had a problem with Dunlop tires. I do prefer Pirelli Diablo Stradas, but I might try Dunlop Road Smarts on my next tire change.

I usually try to stay out of these political threads, but this is bullsh*t!! I don't care if you are democrat or republican, you cannot be happy with the direction this country is going. And until we the people decide it's time to clean house in Washington and kick all of these fat, rich, back scratching, disconnected bastards out of the House and the Senate and start over nothing is going to change! These idiots could care less what happens to you and me. All they're concerned about is when they're voting on their next raise! Obama can preach about change all he wants, but in case the American public has forgotten their junior high social studies, he can't do sh*t without the approval of congress. And Nazi Pelosi and the rest of the Democrat cronies have had control of Capital Hill for the last two years. Do the math, blame whatever you want on Bush, but he's been in a stranglehold from Congress for that long. I saw Pelosi on an interview where she was asked if herself and the Democratic Congress take any responsibility for the current state of the economy and the country. She flat out said "NO" and blamed everything on the President. Even this retard doesn't know how checks and balances work! Now she has her own personal puppet in the Oval Office. All Obama is going to do is bumble his way through four years of doing whatever Pelosi and the rest of the idiots want him to do.

I am absolutely horrified at what we are going to leave for our children. This will take a long time to fix.

I just use 3 motion pro spoons, and that usually works fine for me. Bikemaster has a nice tire spoon set that is relatively inexpensive.

As bad as Obama is proving to be he isn't the worst and he won't be the last ignorant boobie to have the job. The USA has survived Grant and Jackson, this guy is just a criminal and not a very bright one at that. We just have to watch him close, like tending a three year old. If a three year old can successfully grow to be an adult, Obama can be coaxed/persuaded to do what is in the best interest of the country. My best guess is that sucking up big time to get on his good side and throw under the bus all the dumbasses who got on his wavy gravy train early should suffice.

He stated once that all he needed was for someone to tell him what to do because he could sell anything with his charm. (Not a quote/paraphrase) He is known by the company he keeps, change his company.

Trust me on this he really doesn't care, he has no agenda. Unlike Mobsters he will not even be loyal to friends and family.

Wow! I find it hard to believe that many of the same people screaming at the top of their lungs that you cant bash the President, when 'W' was on the job, are at the head of the line with sticks in hand now.

I have always liked the line Lee Iacocca used to bring Chrysler back, "Lead, follow or get out of the way!"

Now that I have said my peace, preach on brothers! You have that right!

I will search your words for a truth I can believe in.

"Are you afraid we are going to notice that Obama is incompetent?"

No! I actually like him and will give him his four years to try and clean-up the mess that Bust put us in! Remember that he won the election! The voters spoke at the ballet box where it counts, not on a motorcycle board where some people get off by attacking our elected president!

this is the UNITED STATES of AMERICA!

Ummm..... I kinda remember President Bush being incessantly attacked for years. Do you remember the partisanship?

I guess this is the dialectic in action. Get used to it because Obama effing sucks. He is doing more damage to our country than even Bush did. And he has only been in office for a skotch of days.

i don't like to get political also but although i am a democrat just in name not what i believe in, yes john kerry did serve but he was also the person that went on record saying that we were a bunch of baby killers over there. it was another war and there will be casualties of war. one of the guys that worked for my dad years ago told me about the time that he had just walked out of the tent that he slepted in and some young kid who had come around selling cokes, came in one last time with hand grenades strapped to his body. he pulled a pin and this guys buddies were instantly killed. i also know what it's like to be punched in the mouth for trying to wake up a guy for watch the wrong way who had spent time in vietnam. although i didn't like bush i don't like kerry either.(flame off)

Wow...another political thread....well I remember Bashing Bush pretty hard, I even got some PM's from Blake a couple times while we waged our arguments, he got the better of me on a couple. Anyway, I guess my point is this, Socialism bothers me, and I have a real keen feeling, by actions and words, that Obama, Pelosi and Frank are very interested in creating a socialist America. That bothers me, impinging on gun rights, freedom of speech, and it seems the ability to actually SAY ANYTHING against the policies of this particular elected official comes with a heavy dose of televised flogging against the slightest criticism, bothers me. I remember the first time I ever heard the guy speak, 2004 Democratic Convention, and I must admit I was taken with his ability to communicate, so being the inquisitive person I am, bought his book. I read it, and gave it to a friend to read and we were in agreement, that book passed to four maybe five people now and we all are in agreement. I don't want this guy as a president, that was 2006. Well here we are, I do believe Kinky Friedman is the only honest politician I have ever heard and that is because he wasn't really a politician, but he said and I quote " It doesn't matter if it is the Crips or the Bloods in office, they don't care about you, they don't care about me, they only care about the money and the power"
That is why it should be Kinky Friedman in 2012. Ok that part is a joke. Decent discussion though.............

Check this out.......

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29784865/?GT1=43001

Appearing on NBC's "The Tonight Show" Thursday, the president told host Jay Leno he'd been practicing at the White House's bowling alley but wasn't happy with his score of 129. Then he remarked: "It was like the Special Olympics or something."

Frankly . . . I'm not fan of his but the Special Olympics thing is a non-starter. It was a poorly chosen venue for a comment that any of us would have laughed at in private.

He made a mistake.

He apologized.

Case closed.

I'm thinking Pirelli Diablo reds, since I haven't been doing as much expressway.... but I just moved 11 miles further away from work... is the lifespan/traction equation good on them?

policies, not personalities. Very few of the people who want to be Senators & Presidents are the kinds of folk you'd trust if you heard them talk about you.

( case in point is local carpetbagger Massa who was vocal in his derision of the NRA nuts that he lied to in a previous campaign stop, when he thought his audience was "ny liberal", but in fact was being recorded on a cell phone. )

Come to think of it, being called a "clinger" was a sign, to me, of badly concealed character flaws from another politician.

For me, the whole thing is infuriating. I'm very open about not having placed a vote for Obama, but have always been a full supporter of whatever man/woman may be currently in the Office, if for no other reason than to respect the individual and trust in the collective whole that contribute to overall decision-making. Witnessing everything since January, I'm finding it very difficult to continue that support. Good Lord, it's only been two months! How can things head so sharply downward in that amount of time??
