Mid Ohio Sports Car Course
Thursday 16th
Ride with the Pros - Max Time Format
No AMA Competitors in Trackday Class
1 Day $205

Max-Time: Intermediate and Advanced riders in an “open track” combined format. These events will start with a 15-minute session for each group allowing riders to warm up and then switch to an open-track format where you may come and go as you please. IMPORTANT: The Max-Time format is exclusively for experienced “I” and “A” group riders.

As you can see this track day is for Intermediate and Advanced riders....
so if you have done a few track days this is a GREAT day to be at Mid Ohio.
The AMA races are going on that weekend and you will see the big dogs setting up camp.
I worked this event last year and it was a TON of fun. (I got to ride the KTM RC8)

any takers????

I may have to try and make it. I'm in the slow end of intermediate. It would be cool to meet Higbee and Eslick.

I was looking at that too. I was already planing on going for the race and it would be super sweet to do a track day all in the same shot. I just don't think my S3 is up to the intermediate status. I have only ran in the beginner group at the inside pass days at Mid Ohio. I am sure I could move up but i'm not sure the S3 is the right bike for the cause. I wish a firebolt or 1125 were in the budget but not this year. They are also running regular days Monday and Tuesday after the race.

Last year there wasn't a lot of people on the track.... I'm sure the S3 would be fine....

Just hold your line....

The problem with the S3 at last years inside pass was that after riding demos all day I ground the f*** out of my pegs. They are all angle cut now I really need a bike that is more suited for the track and o yea, leather too. That was one thing that was great about inside pass, the Vanson demo leathers. Do you think the spots for this day will fill fast? Maybe if I can put off "living like no one else" for the first part of the summer things could come together. We will see.
