Yeah, I forgot you weren't in CONUS.

BTW, I specifically DON'T drink on St. Pat's day. I stay home, away from all the drunk idiots on the road.

What a bunch of romantic nonsense. Americans should not be posturing on the internet about how other people stay divided over this and that. St. Patricks day is about jumping into a swimming pool full of green bear and wearing a fake orange beard. There's the real application of the colors. The only colors that really matter are the red white and blue.

My drinking buddies affectionately refer to St. Patricks Day as Amateur Night.

Well that does have a better ring than "Slip in the f***ing vomit day" as we call it here in the apple.

New Years eve is amatuer night
St Patty's is the Super Bowl for drinking I honestley use St Patty's as the day I stop drinking as I tend to build into the event with a playoff like atmosphere of whiskey abuse. The sun is a little stronger the days a little longer and everyones mood is starting to change for the better so I like to use the 1st two weeks of March as a jumpoff to better days. I believe Hammeroid has a shirt that says it best
St. Patricks Day it makes my liver HURT I'd like to add but my heart is smiling

Interesting to me, St Patrick a religious man, remembered for what?
For all who use his day as an excuse to get wrecked.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not protesting about it as I'm totally agnostic.
AS far as I'm concerned religion has been the cause of more pointless violence than anything else in human history, so I avoid it when at all possible.
