I am looking at taking a long weekend and getting out of Wisconsin!! I am thinking about going somewhere around south Missouri, Tennessee area. I would like to know from some local Buellers how the weather is around the weekend of April 10 usually? I am also wondering if there is someone else from Wisconsin absolutely dying from cabin fever like I am and would possibly like to go along? Thanks in advance Paul

You dirty rat, wish I was close enough to do that. Always wanted to see a Shuttle launch and landing.

I was trying to go about 8-10 hours from home for this trip so Florida is a little far this time.

I think Ferris is joking as the Shuttle is still on the ground.

I number of years back had to be 13 years ago I got to see a night launch then it was a big deal because they said it was never done before. It was quite spectacular I will say that the whole beach was alive with people and partying at like 3in the morning or so . It was the most memoravble moment of that particular vacation

When I lived in Tampa we could see the launches from our house. That night launch was the second most memorable for me. I will never forget the Challenger's last launch. We went over to the cape for two launches over the years and were lucky enough that both launched on time.

Anyways, the weather in East Tennessee will likely be in the low fifties at night and mid sixties to mid seventies in the day. That time frame is out a little far for an accurate weather report.

It is strange, in Tennessee when spring arrives, it is like a switch is thrown and over night the weather jumps twenty degrees to summer weather patterns.
