Author Message   Ftd Posted on Friday, January 23, 2004 - 05:02 pm:        I am supplying Daves with an X1 to ride tomorrow in Orlando. I rode it to work today and it ran great. Then on the way home I had to wait for a train, after that bike ran poorly. Pulls fine under heavy throttle, idles fine but just off idle and crusing it surges. I have bypassed kickstand switch, clutch switch, tightened battery cables and replaced the plugs. No change. I looked for rubbed through wires and found none. Any suggestions. If it is rich fouling, I would suspect one of the ECM temp sensors or the O2 sensor.   Davefl Posted on Friday, January 23, 2004 - 06:11 pm:        My first guess would be the O2 sensor. It also happens to be the only sensor you can get on a Friday night as you can get one at AutoZone or you favorite auto parts store.
