Aweome showing but can't help to dream of how good it could have been. Damn Eslick is fast on that bike with only 3 weeks practice time. Coming races should be great for them

Hopefully the "safety" car was only for Daytona. The worst crash was due to the "safety" car. Ironic

Damn Eslick is fast on that bike with only 3 weeks practice time.

Hell yeah he's fast - he blew the damn body work off!

I was watching them so daintily placing the duct tape on there, thinking, COME ON! SLAP IT ON AND LETS GOOO!!

He must have been thinking the same thing.

Just wrap it around a few times! It'll be fine!

Great race though! Woulda been cool to see an American bike in the top three. But we sure are a lot closer than we were.

I am psyched. Next race should be tomorrow! Lol. Still like the superbikes better but like pulling for MY manufacturer of choice. I think I need some Buell Racing gear

What brand upper did Eslick have? Bet they get a call in the morning. Would love to hear that conversation, as it cost him the race. Also love the retard trying to fix it (probably the smartest bastard on the planet with tuning but cant figure out how to use duct tape). Great showing and I think people will be keeping a watchful eye on #9.

Better "Pace Bike" idea. Make it a CrossBones ridden by a member of whatever the local 1% is. LOL Ain't no-one gonna pass that pace bike. Complete with hammer and get back whip.

What about that Buell that took a tumble. He finished the race right?

What a testament to design of the bikes and how they fall when compared to other bikes.

Very interesting that that body work was an aftermarket piece and not a Buell racing part.

Fast Freddie even mentioned he was amazed at the strength or the Buell to take that tumble and still drive away. Anyone who has taken the tour will recognize where that pic was taken

I think at the end of the race it showed the #98 that wrecked as out of the race, but I could be wrong. That was a bike sponsored by HD of Frederick, MD.

1125cc vs 600cc? America's superbike only competes against middle wgt imports? Unimpressed to say the least. Duc wins World Superbikes with little more displacement. JOKE.

Estlick rode like he was possessed after he had the problem on lap 11. He came from 68th and finished 13th.

I think he's going to have a great year after what I saw of him tonight.

GO BUELL!!! I DVR'd the race. I watched the last few laps after I got home tonight (1:30am), can't wait to watch the rest tomorrow!

I absolutely love the fact that the BUELL's are the only bikes that you can tell what they are just by the sound. Everything else sounds exactly the same.

And Danny H Jesternut, you are the joke my friend, not the racing.

where can i find the final standings?

"1125cc vs 600cc?"

Higbee ran his 1125R in the Superbike race.

Give it time. Ducati didn't have a WSB contender until the rules were changed in their favor. They were also not operating with a clean slate motor.

Buell has had two model years on a brand new powerplant with limited tuning for racing.

You don't honestly think 146hp is all that the 1125 is capable of, do you?
