Thanks for the birthday post! Did not mean to spur this post by the email I sent!
Closed on the house this afternoon; it does not have a barn, Jim, and is a complete departure from what I usually look for in a house- it's brand spankin new. No barn now, but I've got room for a proper shop/barn a few years down the road from now.
I feel very blessed to have the chance to have this place; it was intended to be another guy's dream house- things fell through with banks for him and I ended up with it. It feels odd to be buying a house given the challenges so many have these days.
I really miss the Iowa ranch and barn, and the great friends I have there, but you have to chase adventure, and we'll have some great parties here and another great place to ride and meet new friends. Keep your eyes posted for a house warming party!!!
