I'll be there the 5th and most of the 6th... So if anyone is coming from around the Appleton area and wants to meet up and go down, shoot me a message.

Yup.

You guys have fun this year. I have 2 things already going on this year.

I am supposed to be at Drill that weekend...I'm also supposed to be a Best Man in a Wedding on the 6th. So, I'm either going to be at drill, or standing in a wedding...

Made Homecoming 2 years in a row, but they couldn't have put it at a worse time for me...DAMN

I'm about ready to do the "snoopy dance" 'cause I'm so happy that it is finally
official!

With Buells running in three classes (maybe) of racing it should be a great weekend
for us Buell fanatics to really see them in action.

Beyond the factory events is there an announcement from Hal's about any events in the
works Steve?

I also understand Uke's has some things going on that weekend for their anniversary
too?
Last time their anniversary and homecoming came together we stunned Bubba Blackwell
when he asked which bike he should ride next....The answer was "BUELL!" the look
on his face was priceless. I'm sure his normal routine anticipates the crowd answering
back "Harley".

Homecoming is GOOD!

Brian, do you remember Bubba riding his Blast at that show? I talked to several owners that couldn't believe all the stuff he did on that Blast that day and when up at Road America several said then now wanted to get a Blast for a stunt bike to play around on.

I hope Hal's does their ride to Great Lakes Dragway for the Harley / Buell shoot-out on Thursday night again. Last year it was a rain-out for the races but two years ago it was great! They had a band and brats for the riders at the drag strip.
Bud are you listening?

I'll be talking with Bud, and the rest of Hals on Friday at their Daytona 200 Party, and propose another Great Lakes Dragaway party on Thursday evening.

Hey Joe, are you going to be able to make it this year?

I saw on the news you all are getting a few snow flakes today.

Yeah, but our "snow" sucks compared to the shore. I didn't even have to put the jeep in 4x4 to get to work : (

I'm going to try and get out there, but with what's going on at work these days....anybody's guess at this point. But yeah, I'd love to get out there again. If Kim can't make it, might be my excuse to ride out on the Uly instead of trucking a tuber out again.

I am riding the Uly out this year. I will be without adult supervision this year since Lynn has work and school.

I didn't even have to put the jeep in 4x4 to get to work I rode to work today and every day last week. You really need to come out to Colorado. You guys on the East coast get too much snow.

I lived in Colorado Springs from 1973 to 1977. I agree with you about the snow. Who knows; maybe circumstances will have me living along the Front Range again.

Is there any camping in the pits at RA or any local campgrounds? I can't afford the expence of a room.

No hotel info : (

I'll try and see if we can find something more out. If they have any plans for getting special rates at area hotels.

So camping at the track is roughly 100 miles away from both East Troy and The Greatlakes Dragway in Union Grove correct ? Is there an Inside Pass at Road America for this week/end or not ? The stupid Buell site won't let me log on it keeps giving me an 'error code 404'...WTF ?

Anybody from Virginia going to be riding up that way? I've scheduled vacation and I'd hate to make the ride alone.
