I think it's funny they tried so hard to make the Photoshop bike look real, then pulled an M.C. Escher on the rear stand.

I had my hand in between my cylinders a few weeks ago when I was installing a new chrome horn cover. Its preyy damn tight. The whole right side is taken up with cooling lines. I suppose it could be done, but what a shitload of work.

yes a shitload of work. if you look at the middle pic you can see the stainless scoop coming out the left side(shiny triangle with a black center just to the right hand bottom of where the left hand grip is, in between the 2 nitrous solinoids
)

That's sorta like Matt Hotch's.

except mine was done first and it actually rode,ran, and is still running around!

from what i remember in his first rendition of it he tried to fill the water jackets solid and run it with no radiator. didnt work so well for him.


whats great is the one i built actually runs cooler than a stock vrod.

No Rice, got any more pics of your build? what did you do with the radiator and coolant container?

I really like that Rev in other bikes, looks hot.

i am sure i have a couple more at home on the comp. i was way behind on getting a digital camera so any i have are ones someone else took.

if you look at the pic of the right side you can see the stainless flex tubes running down the right side from the water pump to back under the seat. thats where the radiator is. stock vrod radiatior with stock fans. just put a little curve in the radiator.

the radiator hose thats on that thing is worth damn near as much as we had into the whole rest of the bike. its stainless jointed flex tubing thats used for inflight refueling by the military. FREEBEE!! it sure adds alot of nice surface area for cooling though!

there is a scoop molded into the right hand body panel that allows air to flow back under there to the radiator. im pretty sure i have a couple build up pics that will show that part better.

that bike is ALL steel. i hand bent, pounded, and welded the vast majority of that thing. i have to give the credit for the fuel tank to my friend though as he did a huge amount of work gettting alot of that shaped up.

it looks like twins from another mother to the black jetbike sitting beside it in that pic. (another of my builds) with a jfs100 in it.

these pics have been compressed so much over time i dont even know where the original copies are. i'll have to see if one of my friends still have some now that i look at this stuff.

If you're building a heavy old touring mile muncher from the ground up, why pi** about with a bloody great heavy underpowered v twin?
Stick a VW turbo diesel triple in it!
It'll out perform the V in just about any category you can think of!
