If you don't have any plans, feel free to come out and cheer the Gainesville H-D Buell/ Cody's Restaraunt XB12R racing machine to a successfull start!! Racing starts at noon on both days.

Laird, that first solo will wear you out! I hope you have a couple of good Saturday practice sessions in the a.m. then have a great race in the p.m.!

Sunday you might consider adding a couple more sprints if you can. Nothing helps the learning curve like race, repeat, race again. Back to back races is a total blast!

Welcome to the grid!

Thanks!!

Rubberdown,

I would love to run more classes. Unfortunately my budget constraints won't allow it. The way I have budgeted should allow me to compete in 3 classes each race weekend for the entire WERA North Florida Series. The good thing is 4 of the 7 races in the series are at Jennings, where I have done all of my track days except my first one (at Black Hawk Farms).

With any bit of luck and a smidgen of skill, I hope to do well in the overall points!!

Here's to a successfull start to the season!!

Good luck!

Remember these two things about racing:

1) racing is more addictive than crack

2) The only way to make a small fortune racing is to start with a LARGE fortune.

Seriously though, fly the Buell flag high and enjoy the camraderie I have always found
among the Buell riders in particular in the pits. Try to pit near the other Buell guys
if you can.
