HELP!!! I thought I saw somewhere that Great Lakes Dragway was having their Harley / Buell shoot-out on the Thursday prior to Buell's Homecoming, but now I can't find it anywhere. Great Lakes doesn't have their season schedule up on their website yet. Last year it got rained out but two years ago, Hal's had a group ride and a stage with a band and food at the Grove for the Buell riders. That sure was fun, I hope they do it again this year! Bud, are you listening? |

It would be smart to get a Hotel in the Road America area. Doesn't look like they have host hotel this year. You guys might want to figure our sleep quarters now!!! |

My current room, which could change: I got a free room @ Milwaukee Marriott West Waukesha, WI. Im a Marry Rot man. Really nice rooms take a look, www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/mkemw-milwaukee-mar riott-west I could also swing a few more rooms @ low rate and w/ some extra perks @ any marriott. |

I'm staying Elkhart this year. Since Buell has got a one day thing going on. I'd rather be by Road America for the weekend. It would be great to meet you Barker. |

Dana, your not doing anything at your bar on Thursday night for Homecoming? I think, (but I can't find it), they are having the Harley / Buell shoot-out at Great Lakes Dragways on Thursday night. I may just got up to Road America for the Sunday races. Ukes is having his Open House Anniv. party on Saturday the 6th and I feel he will once again have Bubba Blackwell there, but he's not announced either yet! |

Don, No I'm not doing it this year... sorry to all. I haven't spoke to Erik lately and Homecoming starting to get late as far dates announced. I'm a race fan and wanted to make my plans to be in Elkhart. Bright side is I'll still see many folks. I rented a 1 bedroom Condo for a few days. |

"I got a free room @ Milwaukee Marriott West Waukesha, WI. Im a Marry Rot man." That's not a terrible choice if you're not going to RA. That's a sweet hotel, my gf gets free rooms there. We've "overlooked" hwy 164 a few times. The Sheraton is still a great choice. |

Or look in Sheboygan. The places around Road America fill up quickly. |

I seriously wouldn't jump to conclusions at this point. If Buell doesn't have a "Host" hotel, I'm sure Hals can probably help line something up with better rates than everyone booking different, and individual hotels. We can even do a nice planned ride up to RA, going thru a bunch of the Northern Kettle to keep things interesting |

Steve, Thats all good but if you don't do that now. Then anyone waiting to find out if things will appear WILL NOT get a room in Elkhart area. In the resort area I'm staying. The room's are already 75% booked. Just a heads up. Also the night life going on in Elkhart is just awesome. |

Steve, great point, that is what I an waiting for. I would rather be at a place with a bunch of Buellers, no matter the location. I am not much for the night life save the night life in the parking lot talking about bikes over a few brews. I am sure, when it is announced on the Buell site, there will be a hotel listed, otherwise it becomes a locals only event. To each their own, if I was into the races I might think differently. It is going to be great and I am hoping that all the Colorado Bullers will be able to ride out together this year. |

Skinner, Erik usually plays at the Victorian. So thats part of the night life. Enjoy a cool beverage and enjoy his music. There will be plenty of Bueller's there trust me. Also you don't have to ride over a hour back after being on your feet all day at the track. It has its PRO's trust me on that. Both arrangements will work well though. Hope Hal's and Steve do work something out. |
