Got laid off, and had some parts a layin' around. I became concerned that my mind would get lazy, so I put myself to work.

That is sweet. I am an acoustic man myself, but I do like this one. Love the maple 'board.
Do I see some binding on that?

Please let us know what parts you used.

Sweet . . . I think we are on a roll! Oldtime Badwebber Grizzly in Amsterdam jsut built a sweet guitar. I have to tell you that I am amazed at all of them I've seen.

I've seen 4 Buell folks build guitars the last year and it's darn impressive.

Thanks for the positive feedback. It plays pretty good, it still seems to be settling into where it wants to be. It will need some tweaking along the way. I made the body from Douglas fir, mahogany (taken from pallet wood) and curly maple. It sounds really good, the pickup is an old Seymour Duncan that I picked up at a closeout sale.

There's something about a single pickup guitar that really brings out the better of my playing. It was a fun project, and I'm sure that there's more to come.

Bring it over and you can jam in the garage, trying like hell to wake up the neighbors like you did with the last one you crafted!
Nice work, bro.
