I think we need to have a trophy or something presented to the one who travels the longest distance to reach Suches.
I know there are some hard core folks that ride their asses off to get there... They make me feel wimpy for trailering from Huntsville to get there.. LOL |

We are throwing the bikes in a van for the 14 hour drive down. Stopping at Deals Gap for a couple of days of riding before jumping to Georgia for MB.
Riding weather is still at least a couple of months away up here at best!
You can pick me out of the crowd down there - I'll be the one with pasty white skin complaining about the heat! LOL |

Funny Glitch.
I will be there for the first time and really looking forward to it.
Just have to get a tent that is good for packing on the bike. Don't think the 12-man is very MC friendly. |

I just figured out that I am presenting at a conference that Friday, so I probably won't be able to make it. It looks like my last March Badness was last year, because next year I'll be up in NY and definitely won't be able to take the time off. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted! |

Got a GREAT south running road sequence, conveniently running towards Suches! See the post for "decided to go for a ride today..."
Folks, this is as enjoyable as running 129, plus it's 10X as scenic- and NO PO PO!!!
170 miles out and back to the house. Left 9:30am, back at 2pm.

Ft.- I can provide a crash pad if need be, Thursday to ride out early Friday. I think my days off will just coincide with the whole weekend.
Departure from Smoky Mountain HD/BUELL: Friday AM kickstands up at 10AM or earlier-
411/360/165/68/339/315/30/64/68/60
With a couple of gas stops, we should have enough time to set up camp.
Actually I'd love to leave Thursday, but I'm just time/distance shootin my best guesses.
