Whatever I might try to write can never fully describe how kick a$$ this was.

Right after I finished shooting the women's world championships today, I got to ride a 4 man bobsled with a USA's olympic team dirver at the wheel.

I rode as brake man.

We hit 69mph. We did not push off ourselves. We got a little push to get going.

IMHO I would have blacked out if we went any faster. They said we pulled about at 4Gs one point.

Here is little vidja I made, It has alot of inside jokes from work.

I wish we had more footage/pix of our races, but we were the camera crew and riders. We shot each other as much as we could.

That looks like an awesome experience. Think you'll need an assistant in ten or fifteen years when I retire from the Army? You seem to have a pretty kick-ass job.

Glad to see our sponsorship being put to good use...I work for Vilter(can see our logo in the fourth pic) and we've got a lot of pictures of that sled all over work...they even brought one in and we got to sit in it though I know that's nothing compared to going for a ride

Barker -

How do you like my neck of the woods?

I've never done the bobsled track in the winter, but during the summer months they run the bottom half on a wheeled bobsled and I've done that. Pretty neat.

Check out the Ski Jump complex if you have time - the views from the high tower are spectacular.

Yep, the towers were nice, but it snowed most of the time, it killed visibility.
