I liked the opening scene where our hero blasts by the street sign, sending it spinning, and you could visualize "cars... suck... cars... suck." It was pretty entertaining except for the unrealistic cheesy computer game like chase sequences. Some of the street scenes reminded me of the wild place Oatman was during the early Laughlin River Runs before the Law clamped down.

Hey Darth,
Don't forget that a red stripe x1 made a cameo in Biker Boyz (one of the crowd shots before the final race).

How much more famous can Buell be?

I'd rather Buell not be famous like that.
I admit I am a little sad when I go to the Toy or Hobby store an there are no Buell models But at the same time I am a little proud that We haven't been tainted by the greedy marketing gods yet.

of course i'm going! i've got a 1995 yamaha fzr600r that i need to sell, bad. i'm going to have her all polished and pretty and sitting in the front row of the parking lot with a for sale sign on the windshield. i'd be nuts to let a sales opportunity like this pass me by. you couldn't ask for more hyped-up squids in one place at any given time than that!

i'm freakin' brilliant!

That reminds me of the first time I saw "On Any Sunday". We came out of the theater, and some hyped up squirrel fired up his DT2 Yamaha and went over a curb, across an island and down onto pavement. He didn't fall, but he was totally out of control with his legs flapping all over. My friend said,"Yup. Happens every time!" and we all had a good laugh. If there are other bikes in the parking lot, keep your eye on them. It would suck to get T-Boned by a squid.

I saw it. I liked it.
Not the greatest movie. No reality whatsoever.
I'm sick of reality TV.
If I want reality. I just go outside.

HAHAHAHAHA well at least the Jetbike is in the movie... but i bet they fail to mention that it costs $180K per bike.... still a kwel bike. Turbine engine from a Helicoptor, no mirrors, just a rear view camera. how kwel is that...?

I Love how the Harley was pulling on it

Read a serious review of that bike by Leno. No low end but the sky's the limit.

Favorite feature: a car pulled right up onto his ass at a stop light, the exhaust melted its bumper.

anybody know where to find that taxi.wmv that was posted here awhile ago ? My wife and I saw the previews for torque and thought it looked stupider than Tom Cruise's head on collision in MI2. Taxi is a better film even thought it's only a minute or so.

Not going to waste my money on this one!Unbeleivable computer generated riding and stunts...will definately cause some squids problems.I just hope their the only ones who suffer because of it!

I saw it at a prescreening. It is entertaining as long as one doesn't try to relate it to reality. I agree with all the posts here. See it at a matinee, not worth the full price.
