I went to the dealer to get the foam rubber rings the instruments sit in.... they said they are obsolete and I can not get them.

WTF! my bike is 8 years out of production and I cannot buy replacement dash parts from the Buell dealer?

please someone tell me they can point me to a set.

i have found, many times, the parts counter guy sees "obsolete" and decides they aren't available. usually the p/n has been superseded to a new p/n that is even in stock!!!

double check the p/n with a buell friendly parts counter, and have them check HD net for one in stock.

they can even check hd net with the obsolete p/n, someone could still have it in stock.

Aren't the instrument housings the same as those of sportsters?

Can you just carve out a set with an exacto?
