Looks like the Fed is protecting us from our own ignorance again. Sorry if this is a repeat, but I just heard of this when trying to get a friends kid into racing. Looks like the ban on toys with lead paint will include motorcycles and this means no more racing for little kids. No purchasing them new or used and no parts available to fix the ones that are already out there.

Maybe we should stop allowing China to send us goodies with lead paint. I don't want my kids around any lead, or asbestos or anything like that. How come this wasn't addressed with the lead-toy scare? What is China's problem? Well, besides being commies

Be Careful the Chinese are taking over.

Why do you think that there are so many Chinese Adopted babies? They are populating the world.

Thats my crazy thought for the morning.

These are japanese manufactured bikes that are effected by this too. As I understand it, they couldn't single out Chinese made products due to retaliatory tariffs on US made goods being exported to China.

That is the point of this new law. Although you can't say China, as thats not fair trade, so everybody including us can't make anything for kids that contains more than a trace of lead.
