Technology is great! I'm posting this from my wife's laptop in the car on the PA Turnpike.

We visited the inlaws in Elkton Maryland and made a day trip to NYC. First, I wasn't really expecting the WTC to be a REALLY big construction site. We managed to get lost between there and Battery Park and showed up about an half an hour late for the ferry to Ellis Island. No one seemed to care and let us on the next one. Roasted nuts rock. You really don't grasp how big this city is until you're there.

After that we took the subway to Times Square... Visited the M&M world right near Times Square. We then took a train to Central Park and visited the Museum of Natural History. We found Grays Papaya from an episode of 'Diners Dives and Drive-Ins' and tried their stuff. It was highly overrated, except the papaya juice. My blood sugar level probably went through the roof.

We managed to get lost on the subway and ended up on the Brooklynn side of the river and found our way back to the E train.

As is my tradition, I stop in every state and waste a few bucks on lottery tickets.

I wasn't expecting New York to be that nice, I was expecting the feeling of Detroit, etc. Honestly, I haven't met nicer people, except at Buell gatherings. The commuters in New Jersey on the PATH train weren't too friendly.
