I'm going to send this link to a friend of mine who just moved from Santa Cruz to Port O'Connor Texas. He can click on it any time he needs a reminder of why he moved. I was just in Santa Cruz last week. I saw a truck with a bumper sticker that read "Rednecks for Obama". I couldn't help but wonder what passes for a redneck in Santa Cruz. At a gas station in Tennessee a local looks at my gas tank,spells out B-U-E-L-L and pronounces it Birelli,asks if it was one of them Eyetalian bikes. I just nodded and left--fast. | ||

Most of you people bitch and moan yet do nothing about it. +1 You go to any local gov. board meeting regardless of where you are in this country and you get that mix of people ( which by the way is friggin hilarious) , but those "wackos" show up every week and get stuff changed if not for any better reason than to get them out of the board's collective hair for a few minutes. Nothing wrong with California, it just seems like a weird place. Biker gangs, San Francisco, the desert, legal pot, its a wild looking place. My friend wants me to move out there with him to "make it big", I'm too East Coast I think, too conservative even for a liberal Democrat to live in Cali! Beautiful though from pics I've seen. wow... I have a pretty extreme NRA friend who watches the entertainment news and gets mad. The quote I hear when he is watching it is "California land of fruits and nuts." I'm with Firmanjim there are nuts all over. I don't think the city council here in Baltimore would give you the time of day to speak out.
