Well how hard it must be to have a non buell freindly dearler. long story short. calling around trying to locate a part for somebody in the uk. The part is obsolete so I was using the dealer locater. well I call around to these places and get put on hold for 5 to 10 mins while they "have to run upstairs to see if they can find it" and then hearing that "well it wasn't in the boxes up there. and then the classic line...we don't sell much buell stuff. well Geee I bet wal mart would be out of business if people walk in and nothing was on display.... I feel sorry for those of you that have to deal with that on a regular basis...... but now I belong to the buell world ina way I never had....I am lonely no more>>>> BTW if anybody has the part number 43839-01y I know some one in the uk that would like to purchase these niffty difty swing arm pivot bolt covers. you know the ones with the pegasus on them | ||

If you have no luck at all, I may be able to come up with an alternate solution. I bought a set of "chrome" ones at the local Hardware store for $1.25. | ||

Jim, I put a set of these on to cover the isolators. I got sick of people telling me that the isolator bolts were not even and something was wrong!!! I guess most don't understand the engine mounting system to the frame of the bike. |
