Can you fit 2 bikes in the back of a fullsize pickup? The bikes are a XB9sx and Gsxr.

Sure, I have a Ford F-150 quad cab and trucked a '96 suzuki cruiser and an '07 xb12s from san diego to portland, tail gate down. They fit fine side by side though if that's what you are asking.

Yes, I have put a couple of street bikes in a pickup before (2007 Toyota Tacoma). Your problem will be tie down points and making sure that the bikes do not rub together.

I tried to put the same bikes in a early model Tundra, but since there it did not have the fancy sliding tie down points that the Tacoma had, I gave up. Also my Tundra bed was not long enough to close the tailgate.

I put both bikes in nose first and then used ratchet straps to compress the forks. THis will work if you have some tie down points in the front center of the bed.

If not, and your bed is long enough to close the tail gate. You may have to put one in backwards (might want to use a 2x12 board across the tailgate so that you are not putting pressure on the tail gate.

I used to put my 175 Honda and 175 K-Wacker dirt bikes in the back of my 71 Datsun pickup. Both had cross braced handlebars and I used a double ended meat meat hook to join the bikes at the bars and then one tie down on each side. I made a ramp out of two "T" steel fence posts with flat iron segments welded in as the "rungs" to hold the two posts together at about a spacing wide enuf to accommodate the tire width. I rode the bikes right up that skinny little ramp with out a problem. Today, I wouldn't attempt that trick.................musta lost something with age.........

I put a large Eye Bolt in the front center of my truck bed so I can tie two bikes in there.

Just sold a '73 FLH - basically bone stock w/saddlebags and crashbars. The guy that bought it had just picked up another shovelhead 'bobber' type of bike, and both ended up in the back of his truck. Plenty of room. Tie strap rats nest when done, though! Full sized Toyota or Nissan truck w/extended cab.

Bikes are on the way to Japan, it turns out.

Don't think he's gonna drive them all the way - gas prices, while not as bad, are still a bit prohibitive for that!
