Why is the japanese Buell website so much better than the US site?
Wallpaper calenders, cool screensavers...
What gives?

That picture looks stupid. I prefer pics where the bike is in a realistic setting. I dont know how many of you take your XB out for Trials events, but I would bet its somewhere around 0.

Come on Dyna, that beautifull winding road doesn't look like a trials event to me. The pic is called "art", just like the XB styling is a work of art. And its only a little bit of cross-country for the Buell to get back on the road... :)

Why can't the US and Canada site contain the same information!!!!

I'd be hesitant to take a belt driven Buell anywhere there is the possibility of picking up loose gravel, etc, etc to avoid having to push the damm thing home due to belt failure.

Now mine with the chain is a different story, I'd prop it up there for a shot!!!

I think it's a real pic. Check out the reflection on the fly screen and airbox cover... Granted, they could have just taken a pic w/o the bike, projected that pic against a backdrop, taken a nother pic with the proper lighting and then edited the airbox cover...

Real or not, its still a stupid picture. Buells dont ride up on big rocks. Why not put one in a frickin boat & take a picture? Same damn thing.

Thats one of the roads that circle around the Port-Aux-Port Peninsula on the west coast of the island. That road follows the coastline the whole way for about 120miles on that particular section.

One of the many stops on the Newfoundland Adventure next summer.

Newfie...Like I said before, you must be connected with the local tourist bureau. The pics you post make me drool.

Almost reminds me of what the 1950's were like in Wisconsin. Absolutely gorgeous until we got saturated with condo's in all the scenic areas and welfare recipients in all the cities.

Bill,

Like Court and his photo journeys which I enjoy as I have never been to New York, I too love to shoot anything that moves.

I actually used to have a B&W darkroom in my parents old house but when they sold it I lost my space then sold the gear. A good friend has one but since the advent of digital photography I have not shot much film. I have a cheap digital and am waiting for the price of the Canon Rebel Digital to drop another few hundred before I purchase.

This place is so beautiful to shoot its amazing.

Newfie I love my digital rebel. I can get 70 images to a 256 card at max resolution. EASILY print quality right out of the camera.

I've ridden my buell through scenery like that. And if you look at the other shadows in that photo they are difinitely in the same direction. I just don't like the lack of touring equipment.

Oh the reason it is so much better than ours? The Japanese consumer demands better quality than the American consumer.

"Oh the reason it is so much better than ours? The Japanese consumer demands better quality than the American consumer."

Interesting statement considering it concerns a Japanese Buell site.

"Oh the reason it is so much better than ours? The Japanese consumer demands better quality than the American consumer."

Hmmm...Me thinks it is because the Japanese consumer is working and the American consumer is not. Translation: Too many jobs lost to the Orient.

I'm reading about lots of jobs going to India and China and Mexico, not too many lost these days to Japan.

And I'm not so sure the .jp site is better, all I get when I click on the link is a little broken box symbol. :) I be flash impaired here.
