Slightly auto performance related
I threw up a bit when I saw this

Recaro is now making baby seats (or maybe they always have and I am just now finding out about it)

I have Recaro's in my car, but that's rediculous.

Start'em young I guess. I'd rather have my young'un imprinting a performance car seat brand than Pepsi or Coke that they sell baby bottles in the shape of.

My daughter has had one for the last two years. It is just about the best, most safe car seat ever made.
I wouldn't have her in anything else. Read the reviews.

nope...only a matter of time until they go after all motorcycles.

After all this law is "to protect the children" and aren't we all our parent's children?

just following it to it's (pseudo)logical conclusion.

Heck, if it is a safe seat, I don't see a problem here.

When my little girl is in the car, I want her as protected as possible.

I have heard great things about ricaro child seats.

Oh, I hear ya. I don't recall ever using a seat belt, much less being in a car seat as a youngin..
Hell, I used to sit in the floor board on the passenger side and use the window crank handle as a gear shift! I was Mario Andretti every time we went somewhere!

However, many many children died needlessly in relatively low impact crases back in the day too.
Heck, if we had ever gotten in a wreck when I was sitting in the floorboard, I would have been toast.

heheheh, back in the day... buddy of mine had me take the wheel because he didn't want his girlfriend to see him driving thru the neighborhood (yeah, even I thought it was stoopid), but anyhow, he laid down in the back seat and I simply could not resist. WHUMP! Brake checked his ass at about 40-50.

I have had my kids in Recaro car seats and now a booster for 2 years now. They are pretty bada$$. They are great due to the side inpact protection. They are also good because the kids have somewhere tolean their head against when dozing.
