So, I'm pretty new to posting here. I've been reading for about a year or so but have only made about three posts. I was wondering, is there a way to subscribe to a particular thread on here? I'm not real fond of browsing through dozens of threads to find one specific one. Thanks. |

If you reply to a thread, you should start getting email whenever someone else replies to the same thread (until it goes into Archive). |

I think there is a way to set it up like that if you go to edit profile. I have never gotten an email regarding, but am almost positive that it is possible. |

Get thread you want to follow open, right click, on drop down menu create shortcut to desktop, rename item on desktop to suit so you can see it... click and follow at your leisure.. |

go into Edit Profile (link at top right of every page). there's all kinda spiffy stuff you can do in there, including tagging a particular thread so's you get an e-mail every time said thread is posted to, and including the ability to reply to said thread via the same e-mail. FB |

Sweet. I found in the "Edit Profile" link. Thanks. I don't know why I've never seen that before. |

Thanks man. I really appreciate that. All of us that serve do. All we see is what's on TV and that starts to disparage you a lot. |

Delbuort, I was at RAF Lakenheath for a 3 1/2 year tour 81 through 84. Lived in Feltwell for some of it. I think I left my glass at the pub there when I left. Had a Honda xl250s and a 750 Kaw. Liked riding in the queen's forrest and on all the windy roads. Watch out for that black ice and mate. Oh, and Thankyou. |

Ourdee, that's awesome. I still find it amazing at what people you meet in this world. It's a lot smaller than most people can ever imagine, especially with the internet. I lived in Feltwell village until March of last year, I moved to Herringswell, down by the 5-ways roundabout, after some issues with the old house. I have to agree with the queen's forrest part. I love it around Sandringham, headed up past Kings Lynn. The black ice through Feltwell village is horrible though. That nice off-camber turn going through the village beside the church. I'm guess a lot has changed around there since you were there. They added a new Deep Space Tracing System on RAF Feltwell. There are three huge golf balls (RADOMEs) there now. You can see them from miles away all the way around the base. Any, no...thank you. |
