How to Improve Federal Congressional Efficiency: Line ‘em up once a month, in formation, on the capital mall. (Hey, we’re paying for it, so let’s use it.) Line up all 535 of them plus the POTUS and his VEEP and entire cabinet. (What do you mean it’s a security issue? They’re in charge of our nation’s security aren’t they?) If any of them are AWOL handle it the same way the military does. Now give the formation the tongue lashing or praise they deserve based on their prior months performance. This lecture will be limited to 6 minutes, so make it short and to the point. Dismiss them and send them immediately back to their duties. How should we select who gives them the tongue lashing or praise? I don’t know yet, but I suspect we could come up with some great ideas. Make them short and sweet. (Not like current laws.) I suspect that the first few years will require more tongue lashing than praise. If this is done correctly we will save this country. G | ||

I like pushups and laps for punishment but then again there are a couple of legislators and corporate CEO's that I think need an all expense trip to the New Hotel Gitmo.... |
