the oil in the tank is good and clean. when i went to empty my catch can in prep. for a ride. i noticed the color of the oil is really brownish. is this normal. and like i said the color of the oil is normal???????

normal, what you collect in the catch can is a mixture of oil and water. The water comes from normal condensation (from air) inside the cases, and when the engine heats up it vaporizes and collects in the can.
