I just got off the phone with Andy at Precision Engineering. They usually ship by UPS, which is convenient for them. However; being the cranky old fart that I am, I don't like UPS. They charge a lot more than the USPS, and it takes six days longer for items to get here. Anyway, I called with a small order. Andy assured me that they are a customer oriented company, and that they would have no problem sending sending someone to the Post Office to ship my brake line clamps Priority Mail. Good Customer Service is so hard to find any more, that I think it should be announced when it's found. If you haven't looked at Precision Engineering's web site, you should. They make good stuff, price it VERY reasonably and they are willing to cater to pain in the butt customers. I WILL be buying more from them in the future. |

+1 bought some xb bar risers at christmas and they did not fit right. after a discussion w/ Andy and a little miscommunication he made a second set that did not fit right, and 1 day later i recieved the third set which fits like a glove. No complaints on Andy's end, only the goal to make sure i was happy with my parts. great company! great guy! |

Everything I have ordered from them has arrived perfect so I can not attest too much to their customer service but if it is anything like their products it has to be top notch. |

Mine didn't arrive perfect, but the reaction to make things right WAS perfect. Couldn't be happier. |

Just a quick update: I ordered the clamps Tuesday afternoon. This morning, at 7:15 they were at my house. Remarkable service. Thank you, Andy at Precision Engineering. In a couple of weeks, I'll be ordering some stuff for Terri's Ss. |

Today, I got four brake line clamps; two for my XT and two for Terri's Ss. I've already gotten 1" risers, Gen II brake and shifter pedals and shift pivot; all with black anodized finish. Terri wants the shifter, pivot and brake pedal. Precision makes beautiful products at very reasonable prices, and has Customer Service second to none. I am happy to spend my money on their products. |

Crusty you will find you only needed one for the XT or you will need to run without the rear fender. I made the mistake of ordering 2 and found the rear line is held by the fender. So I ran for a awhile without the fender and decided I want the fender back on. I too have the Gen II pedals and pivot and like them both. The pedals look so nice. |

Crusty, Andy is a great guy. I asked him if he could make those brake line clamp's a year ago and he did. I've had them on my bike for some time and enjoy the look much better. I was also the lucky guy to test the Generation 2 shifter's. Which I also have both brake and shifter. The brass bushing on the shifter would be to all's benefit to put a touch of antiseize on it to help with binding. The shifter has really tight tolerance. |
