Been 2 weeks since I decided I needed some stitches in my knee. Got on the bikes today for some much needed seat time. Spent about 40 minutes on the mountain bike and then spent the afternoon on motorcycle. Lots of trouble bending knee at first but by the end of the day total turn around. Can almost bend my knee all the way now and most pain is gone. Just freaked out because my left leg is noticably smaller than my right.Weather was fantastic, sunny and near 70,darn.

Aw Shaddup, it's just got above freezing for the 1st time in 2 weeks here, & now it's fog & rain. Going to freeze again tonight so the roads will be like a skating rink.

Glad the knee's better though.

Walking will level the legs up, but don't try to over-compensate for the leg weakness or you'll unbalance everything else.
I go to the Osteopath now & again just to get re-aligned, the cracking noises scare the crap out of me & I never knew that bits of my body were supposed to go that far, but it works.

This coming Friday, when I get up to go to the IMS show in New York City, the temperature is supposed to be -7°F (that's -21.6°C). No matter where you are, the weather is better somewhere else. The weather is also worse someplace else. However, it is an Absolute that WINTER SUCKS!!!

Jim, I'm glad that your knee is getting better.

Man! Those muscles go away fast on us youngsters, don't they?
With extended periods of crutches on both sides now, my stick legs may have dashed my hopes of being a speedo model when I grow up.

Glad to hear you're back in business.
Watch that puddle diving!

I went off roading on Jan 1st, and after reading your post I bothered to put on the knee and shin armor. It's a little tight on me, so I generally don't bother, but your story put me back in the ATGATT mode.

3/4 way through the trip, I caught a toe in a muddy rut and rotated the whole leg pretty much all the way backwards. OWWWWWW.

So I still ended up with a sprained knee. But at least I could be smug about wearing all the gear. Thtpththththt.

I can bend mine all the way back up if I don't have weight on it, and it doesn't hurt that bad. Can't kneel down with weight on it though... OWWWWWWWWWW.

Take a ride for me! Snow and ice here in Ohio...

Good for you Jim. I fell from my garage roof off a latter right before Winter last year. I thought my knee was blown for sure. Few trip's to a sports doctor and I think I'm ok now. Finger's still crossed.

Not even going to think about kneeling on it for a bit. Sure was nice to ride the bike to work again. Sunny and nice again today--and rest of week weatherguy says.
And I just added another year,my b-day today.

Happy b-day, Jim! I know it's good to get back rolling.

I'm going in tomorrow to get 1/2 of my 76 stitches out of my stomache, looking forward to it, too. Probably won't ride for another month or so.
