Been looking at a '95 S2 for sale in Buford, Georgia but would like someone local to take a look at it before deciding if it's a go or not. Anyone in the area that would be willing to give the bike the once over and report back? I'll gladly pay for gas plus something for your effort. Thanks in advance.

Give me the details - I could go check it out next weekend.

By any chance is it yellow with about 20K miles?

Easy-rider, yes it is. Do you know the bike?

Thanks Kilroy. I'll get the info and get back with you.

It sounds like a bike that was listed here a little over two years ago. It wasn't by the owner, but by someone passing the word. It was owned by a Harley mech in Atlanta (?), traded in to another dealer, and sold to a "collector" before my buddy could check it out. I believe it was the same bike on eBay a few months ago, with "no time to ride" listed as the reason for selling. It was listed as a premium over the price quoted to me. I think it had 19K miles with 19 oil changes when I was looking at it. I expected it to be well taken care of since it was owned by a mechanic, but I don't have any idea how hard it was ridden.

That's consistent with what the current owner is telling me. He said it was owned by a Harley mechanic and that he's the third owner. Says a friend of his bought it from the mechanic and had it for a year before the current owner bought it. Thanks for the info.

Bjack -

Do you still need someone to go and take a look-see for you?
