You can park your truck at my house . I am at exit 348 , just inside Georgia . 4 miles off I75. 2 hours from suches or deals gap

I think how far you are going to ride in a day depends on a lot of factors. If I'm riding in the rain I get tired of it and want to quit after awhile. Otherwise I've done of lot of 850mi. days (the last one in Sep. took about 21hrs.).
I also don't push it if I'm tired or one of my riding buddies is tired. If someone wants to stop then I'll stop.
When we did the 1,100mi. in 17hrs. it was all on the interstate so that was kind of like cheating. |

That would be very cool. Id love to meet some buellers along the way. Friday Feb 19 we will be in your area. We are waiting till the date is days away to make final plans depending on the weather. |

I can access badweb from my cell phone so I figure I will be alright. Thanks for the offer though. Just in case of no cell service I also print screened the bran and added it to the map book. |

That is my wife's birthday so my chances of getting out and riding are slim. She wants to go to Helen for the weekend but she won't ride if it is cold. o well

Slim is better than none. Mabey you could possibly join us on the last leg of the return...
Two hours last night and I felt fine today. 4.5 hours in the saddle tonight. I never got off even though I know I dont plan of riding that long. Im a little sore right now. I was watching iron butt type youtube vids mostly.
I found a series of 6 that had a helmet cam and the guy speaks his random thoughts along the way. Kind of gives you an Idea of his state of mind. Plus he was on a sportbike. For those interested here is the first link. Vid #3 was removed when he and his riding partner got in a fight. Kinda makes ya think about the stress that can be involved.

We may take you up on that. Our milage #s work out better that way and less hours riding in the cooler weather should help with the stamina.
BTW, Feb. 19 is a Thursday.
 I got mixed up. We are Leavin MN the AM of the 19th. Our first ride day is Friday the 20th, return to haul rig on the evening of the 25th.
I am currently working up a loose itinerary I am going to post it in case anyone wants to join us for a leg of the trip. It would definately be cool to ride with added people along the way and possibly show us some neat things in your area. (time permitting) |

Earplugs, most important, water, and a good touring suit. I've done 1300 miles in 12 hours, don't ask! But the above listed I attribute to my success. |
