Any thoughts as to quality? Funtionability? I have some cycle gear credit and they have a great deal on helmets. The Shoei is out of the price range. I don't know Icon as a helmet company but more of a jackets and stuff. Any advice would be great.

I owned an Icon helmet a few years ago and loved it and it had a nice fit.

I have met the founder of Icon and he is a really good guy and is very open to suggestions and customer input.

also that domain 2 lid is suposed to have the airflow in a helmet. I do not however have any experiance as I do not have one.

They are 40% off at cycle gear and the tough luck helmet kicks a$$ so If it's a good helmet I'll order it.

I own a Domain 2 Devil Dog. I like it a lot. The main reason that I bought it was because I was in the Corps, I just had to have it ... But, it fits me well, fairly light weight, cool in the summer heat, wind noise is good at my standard, and its a bad azz looking helmet, I get tons of looks.

Cool. I saw the tough luck one and it's just to damn cool. As far as the devil dogs go, thank God you're all on our side.

I had an early Domain and now wear a Mainframe. Both were/are very good helmets.
Very comfortable with really good airflow to keep your noggin' cool.
I only got rid of the Domain because it was too big for me.
Most import dealers keep them in stock so you shouldn't have trouble finding some to try on to check fit and sizing.

I have the domain decay in black and it is so light and super strong, Air vents are awesome and you can buy new replacement insides, Cheek pads, all the inside padding, its like new when you switch the guts out. Check out the video where they test it and when they shoot the visor with a bullet. Very nice gear i use ICON exclusively.
