You guys are tough, the guy is happy about the this short day and meteor showers that are going to happen tonight.

I'll bet the whacko's at Stonehedge are having a blast

It's like telling him his birthday makes him a little closer to, ah, you know what I mean. Be positive, think of the good things that could be done to the Buell, etc.

Just jonesing, Merry Christmas and Happy Solstice to all, and to all a good ride in the spring (not applicable to those living in the Southwest or Southeast, we ride all the time.)

Hey, it's O.K., I can take it!
It's -1 and -9 with the wind chill here. I just like the idea that we're headed the right direction toward warm weather although there will be a few bumps along the way, no dought.

I'm with gearhead, I don't mind the cold too much as I love to ski and I love the beauty of winter - what I hate is the dark!

The 1st day of summer is always somewhat of a letdown to me as I am reminded the days are now growing shorter...

Cheers to the longer days ahead!

I agree, the solstice marker is a reason to rejoice. Though the weather will still suck for a few more months, this is the bottom of the short days. I too look at it like a new beginning. In the summer I see it as an end to the long days.

I like long days of sunshine and extended riding time.

The riding day is shorter here too.

It is in the mid 70's so you need to bundle up with a sweatshirt when riding this time of year.

Move south.

(I do love snow activities, just had to rub it in a little to all you in the great white north.) Brrrr

I'm not a mole, damn it, I'm not a mole. Give me sun light - SUN LIGHT!

At least the roads are clear and dry today, I may get out on the bike and measure how many yards it takes before frost bite sets in.

Thank God we have hit bottom on the short days.

+1Gearhead. I look forward to this day every year. By the middle of Jan one can definitely notice the day light getting longer. I've had a smile on my face all week waiting for today.

I watched the Cardinal's, Patriot slaughter today. That is my bad weather experience for the winter, except two a day trips to this web site.

Life is to short to drink cheap beer!
