Go to any Scotch Whisky distillery & they'll tell you the same, adding a little water whether by ice or from a jug (recommended method) brings out the flavour of the whisky.
I do this with a good single malt, but if I'm going out drinking, I'll drink a cheap blended scotch & drown it with 7up or similar, else I'll get smashed too quick.

Here's one for you Fat, we call it "The Snowman"
Large glass, splash of lime cordial, then equal parts of Advocaat ((egg nog) Warninks is good), Vodka, & 7up, add ice as required.
Drink steadily sitting down, then wonder who took your legs away.

Mulled wine is good too, but mulled Cider is better.

Stop in but make sure you get in touch with me so I know when your coming. Turkey is pretty good. I sell it. I have a few customers that won't have it any other way.

Yup. Usually used in conjunction with Irish Car Bombs and other such derivatives of the three contents.

In the end, we are just drinking the Crown straight.

The wife likes the baileys. I really will only drink Irish whiskey or Gentleman Jack . I tried the knot with ice pretty good I liked it better with the bottle in the freezer or left outside this time a year all the whiskey takes on a smoother taste when its freezing cold.
