Ol boy ran a red light on me....so I T-boned him since I had nothing else I could do at the moment. Three vehicles disabled at the scene. I got the Dodge truck worthy of a trip home and mine took a bit more to be a driver. The Ford wasn't going anywhere on it's own and it's driver got the ticket. My radiator support and everything forward is junk. Fender is scrap and hood is probably beyond repair. Man, is there ever a lot of parts in a front end with all the clips, brackets, plastic and light buckets! Probably totaled, but the South is gonna rise again and so will my S-10 'Cyclops'....this really sucks for me! I love that truck.

Ouch! I did a number on an S10 pickup a few years back, I skidded in my Bonneville and went head on, looked much worse than that but we both walked away.

I think he's faking it... that pipe wrench looks like the culprit to me!

Sorry to hear - crashing a vehicle you love sucks, I've been there.

Been there to. Usually if the insurance totals a vehicle you can buy it back. Spend the time to fix it yourself as it sounds like it's worth more to you than the insurance co.

Yeah, nobody hurt. I'm sure I'm gonna get hosed by his insurance company and my company will prolly up the rate if his is no good...you know that is possible. I guess I'll start by politely and simply asking how much they are going to beat me up on this dealio..... and go from there. The worst of it, is buying it back and fixing it..as I will have to rent something for the down time..which probably won't meet my needs. On the other hand, driving it is OK,but in it's condition, just make me look like an ass driver. I easily can do the work........just gonna take time when I also have a job to go to everyday. I went to the police station today to get a copy of the accident report.......TEN BUCKS PLEASE! Oh, so that's the game! Can I just look at it? Grumble...... yes. Can I borrow a pen? Grumble....yes. I pissed away as much time as I dared and then gave it all back and said thank you and left. They would have been better off if they just ran off a 10 copy..........butt wipes! I wish I had a camera and took a picture of it, just to see what they would do.........

Thanks for the pimp on my garage, but it's the basement if that makes any difference........ I think I'm going to "masking tape" whats left of my bug guard with this lettering: "My light was green.... FU".....and give it a coat of protective varnish....because it's gonna be that way for a while. I just had a idea.......to call the other "victim" in the accident and see how he got along with "Oscar's" insurance company........just so I know going in if they are going to dick me around. He had a couple grand damage on his 2000 Dodge. We'll see..............

sorry to see that. the last vehicle on vehicle wreck i was in, i got t-boned in my 96 f-150 long bed. the kid(17) that hit me in an older fullsize buick had insurance but the way i look at is if i hadn't got hit, the person who was in front of me in the turn lane was a little old lady in one of those small old plymouth horizons or something like that and the truck in back of me had a family of four in there so if either one of them had got hit, there would have been an ambulance cause my truck was totaled, no questions about it.

Today, I find my wire harness is screwed on the right side and I can't get a headlight assembly off a junk car to work at anymore than 1/2 power....even with a jumper ground. But the worst is that I discovered my 200 pounds of Winter weight at the front of the box, tried to go thru the cab on impact. Kinked the box and cab and somehow didn't break the glass. Defiantly totaled! So now I have to go in debt because of some dumb ass driver or buy a used truck and chase down problems on end. Nobody takes care of stuff anymore like I do.......well, damned few anyways.
