I know i know, knowledge vault, maybe you can find cuase I can't

I bave a bearing kit bought from a fellow BWB member. It has five bearings in it?

Part number 94197y bearing kit, xb9r/9s

What is each bearing for, I thought they were for the wheels, but 5 bearings, and they only two sets are the same size. Check back in a while

I believe the different bearing sizes would be for setting propper torque on the wheel to your bike.

Wait for another to chime in and make sure.

had a customer pick up a bearing set for a HD wheel and thats how it came

It could be an idler pulley bearing......but that is not a "serviceable" part........BS, one circle snap ring and out with the old bearing and in with the new. Easy as pie. The 03 have a single idler bearing and all newer pulleys have two bearings in it. I worked on a bike once that had three rear wheel bearings...........two on the drive side. For the life of me I can not remember what bike it was. Pretty sure it wasn't a Buell.

if those are the ones I sold you i must have put one of the belt idler bearings in there too!

I was wondering where that other one went, but just shook it off as it must have fallen behind the desk and i'd get it later, haha!

anyhow looks like you only need one more now :-)
you can get them at any local bearing shop/warehouse for about 8 to 10 bucks a pop.

no need to send it back, as I bought a few sets a while back.

Thanks!
-Robert

Yes Robert these are them! Now that you have said that it makes perfect sense. That bearing is the perfect size to be the idler pulley bearing. Sweet, if you are sure you don't need it back, I'll use it. Thanks!

Just an FYI-

The tubers used 3 wheel bearings in the rear wheel, 2 on the drive belt side and 1 on the brake side.
