Cvd, that cam set has alot of overlap 62deg. moderate lift .490 and is long in duration 264/264 a 101 seperation angle very tight, and an intake centerline of 98. Given those specs I would think that cam would have a short power range and a nasty idle you may need some more compression than stock to make them work well. This all depends on other mods you have done and realy you would want to pick a combinaion that fits your riding style.

CVD- I really think based on past discussions on this board that you'd be a lot better off with the N4 or N8 cam. The N4 is pretty much the same as the Buell Lightning cam (in fact, I've been told Andrews manufactured it and it is the N4 grind)My brother had Lightning cams in his '97 M2 and switched to the N8 and is MUCH happier with it.In the end, it's all a matter of personal preference, but I'm gonna do N8's in my M2. Let me know what you choose and if you're happy with it; I'll do the same. Just don't expect a response 'til the snow melts.... ck

Cvd; i run the N6 in a stroker sporty. 89 inches, 11.5:1 compression. in this ap they rock. will idle at 1000, can plug around town at 1800 rpm, cruise good2800-3500, start getting real exciting around4500rpm and will rev out to 7000. that said, i do not recommend them for your ap, for the following reasons in the smaller low compression motor you will lose a lot of low rpm torque. the N6 cams bleed off a lot of cranking pressure. with a stock motor you will miss the torque.. i recommend a shorter duration maybe N4 or screamin eagle... good luck, let us know what you do. dean

On my '99 it's 10:1. Not sure about the '98. CK
