I have had a question posted in the Oldschool board for a few days now with no play? http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/419971.html?1228961041 What is the difference between a Screaming Eagle ECM (currently installed) PN 32420-94,the 94 means the year 1994 ... The REV. Limiter is set for 8000 RPM .. and Buell Race ECM Part No. is 32680-96Y Other than the obvious 1200rpm difference in the rev limit. I have decided I will be doing a 1250 kit with XB heads stock for now. Which ECM would be better? |

Neither one of those is an ECM. Those are ignition modules.Fuel injected bikes have ECMs. As you already know the SE one you have has an 8,000 rpm limit. They also made one that had a 6,800 rpm limit which was basically the same thing as the Buell igntion you listed above. I would not recommend the SE one you listed for street use because if you miss a shift you could destroy your motor quite easily if it revs to 8k. |

Buelliedan, Thanks for the heads up on the modules. I was sort of thinking the same thing with the 8k limit. Brinnutz, PM coming. |
