I hate illegal aliens, They walk in and say you speak Spanish? And i always say: NO THIS IS AMERICA LET ME GO FIND SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE. You know the type then they get all butt hurt because they don't speak English and we Americans are to lazy to learn spanish, ha ha lol. I had one guy start yelling at me saying i am a customer and don't you point at me, So i replied your a customer in Mexico not here. Your illegal, This is my shop and you get out cause i say what goes here and your going i am calling the police and there gonna deport your ass! He went running outta here so fast, I thought he had just made it over the fence from mexico and was evading the minute men. | ||

Sorry this post was originally supposed to be on the quick board. Yes it may be a little.. chase but let me elaborate a little the little son of a ---- just pulls his car into my shop like he owns it, And no customer EVER pulls a car into the shop period. So i was little more pissed than i should have been When i pointed for him to get out. Now on to the discrimination (Not to be rude) Go tell That to the minute men who get paid for stopping them from getting over the border, Or when they claim 13 dependents on there tax form and all of them live in Mexico, But we still give em a nice FAT refund. And if they get an audit they just hop the fence back over and thank all of us stupid Americans for the money and the job, Tell that to all the immigrants trying for the immigration lottery to get here legally! Which by the way Mexico is not allowed to enter in for a reason! There is such a thing, or when they want a drivers licenses, Or welfare, housing assistance, They still get it but sadly our own americans are not getting it, Because they are! The biggest pisser is that if they can sneak their kids over here, we are required by law to provide them with public education until they are 18. Illegal immigrants. Public education. Why can't we follow the student home to the parents and deport the whole family? Teaching jobs are being cut left and right. Maybe if we quit giving our money away to illegals, we could spend it on keeping teachers employed and giving our American students a more quality education by lowering the student to teacher ratio. but hey, I'm just some engineering student veteran of Iraq.......  Pretty funny story. I found myself,on our way to that delicious Mexican restaurant we found.It's in the seediest part of nearby Olneyville.I needed some oil so stopped in their local Autozone. Nobody,i mean NOBODY in the store was speaking English.As i waited in line to pay for my oil i was warmly amused at the Spanish conversations they were having with the salesgirl.I was NEVER intimidated.When it was my turn with the salesgirl,she made her best effort to speak English.We exchanged pleasantries and i left.Moments later we were sitting down to some delicious Mexican cuisine,I was satisfied. As a skilled CNC machinist,i can get work anywhere,and know these so-called illegals cannot get the same consideration for the $32/hr jobs i can.I think there's some room for people desperate for the jobs i will not do.Can't we just all get along? And some of you guys can't write English well. "There" instead of where you should have used "their". Or,"your" where you should have used "you're" and so forth. These people are not immigrants, they are not aliens, they are criminals, invaders. These people have come here against our laws! In that country the officials ACTIVELY seek out invaders, and deport...swiftly. In that country they do not conform to our language except in the tourist trade...FOR THE MONEY! Everyone knows why they are here, for the money. And when the money gets short they will become a burden to our infrastructure which we have built and they do not have in that depleted country. In 1980 I went to Argentina for three months(It's a long story, but she was worth it)and twenty days. When I left there I was speaking and reading that language because those people REFUSED to accept my language. If I chose to come to that country I had better be able to communicate in the language of the country I had chosen to come to! WE SHOULD HAVE THE BALLS TO DO THE SAME!!! Now I will go and find my blood pressure medication. | ||

Oh, I can't resist. When I was travelling through Texas some years ago, I was surprised at the fact that people could be stopped in the street and asked for their ID. In Canada, the authorities have no right to ask for ID except if you are caught committing a crime. I thought it ironic that in the "Land of the Free," one doesn't have the right to walk the street without being subjected to such invasion of privacy. You folks give up a lot of freedom for cosmetic gains. And 4cammer's guns. If guns in the hand of the citizenry create a safer society, the U.S. should be the safest country in the world. I can walk alone at midnight through any street or back alley in my city. Let me know when you can say the same. You have to address the root causes of the problems of society. Joe-the-Plumber's policies don't do that. As the majority just decided. | ||

FWIW, texas has sanctuary cities.... I know Corpus is an UNOFFICIAL one... The border patrol used to be able to check your stuff... but, now they need to set their checkpoints OUTSIDE the county I believe. And they Check EVERYONE.... I am all for it... There are also permanent check points along certain highways... and people STILL get nabbed there.... If this country wants to take better care of people who dont belong here, then, we should stop paying taxes... these people dont... they are using OUR taxes..... Eh, but who cares..... Chase | ||

Ya know, im all for improved border security. It needs to be done. On the other hand, they do a lot of crap work that a lot of americans wont do. In my line of work, im the rarity. There are no 20 something american guys that want to work hard. Everyone wants to go to college and do as little work for as much money as possible. I work with an illegal. I joke with him all the time about deporting his ass, but i never would. They arnt all bad people, he has taken 2 english classes and tries his hardest to get by. Sure i know hes not the norm, but at least he is trying. Ive never had a problem with them myself. As Ducxl said, cant we all just get along? | ||

crap work americans wont do? that is crap. the unemployment rate is up. any one wonder why? A crappy job is better than no job at all. its not that americans wont do them. It is people who hire these illegals would rather pay them under the table less than min. wage than pay people who would do the same job for min. wadge. | ||

I think everyone in American, legal or not, should at least be provided an education sufficient that they can spell and use punctuation in their language of choice. |
