Why would you suppose that they don't have Buell dealerships in Mexico? Harleys are all over and Ducatis, BMWs etc etc and all manner of Asian bikes.

Just seems weird. I'd think a Uly would come in pretty handy down there.

It is odd, especially since Baja California just screams to be used as a ULY playground. And Andy of Ask Andy is from Mexico... It is just ponderous indeed. I know there have been more than a couple of articles of the crew riding their bikes through Mexico. Maybe we need to get a Buell specific ride up on the calender and show the factory that Mexico is a good idea. I hear they have margaritas and senoritas; what else do y'all need ?

Uh right Plaxico. . . .shoot a Mexican, even a bandito, and your life will change quickly and permanently.

In fact, get caught taking a weapon across the border and the same thing will happen only you have a right to legal counsel here.

Better yet, do what my wife used to do when they went riding in Baja' . . hire a local to "Pack heat and wear the vest......"

Maybe we could just check the margarita and senorita boxes and not the bandito box on the itinerary. Not really interested in getting killed so much.

I'd want some intel before attempting such an excursion.

Google is your friend. Ask the crew that is already doing it. I did trailboss last year, and am scheduled again for jan 2009. Good crew.
