my explination is always that it is sport bike with a suped up sportster engine.

I hate the term crotch rocket it sounds more like a name that should be associated with a female sex toy.

I think it's a Moto Guzzi.

I mean last night a dude in a well worn motorcycle jacket, a shaved head and and earring said " Hey man, that's a sweet Moto Guzzi you got there."

The guy I bought it from said it was a Buell.

A Harley rider down at the 7-11 told me it was an very excellent Ducati.

I'm getting confused.

There's no name on the tank, like Hammer said.

Nice bike though, whatever they call it. I'm keeping it for sure.

For the X1, I get "is that Italian?" And then they pronounce Buell BUUU...ell
Then its a crotch rocket.
When I'm on the XB they just look at the bike.
When I'm on the Uly the BMW guys always wave.
When I'm teaching Rider's Edge its fun to bring the students to an XB and have them guess where the fuel tank is, oil in swing arm, find the can, etc. K
