If BMW can do it--why not? They were already halfway there with the F300 Lifejet. Hella cool, that one. For a more traditional moto, I'd suggest they steer clear of the 1.6L A-class powerplant they used in the F300. It's a little untidy looking for a motorcycle.

Bingo!

It was discontinued because the convex seat caused erectile dysfunction in Japanese riders.

Nice perimeter drive

The outriggers were a predesign for cruiser riders that have no clue or skills to ride slowly through parking lots.

BAD IDEA!!!!

I used to work for Benz, they couldnt build a bike worth two poops!

They over engineer everything! and when it breaks they scratch there heads?!?!?

It would be okay if they didnt try to have something much more technologically advanced then the other companies and they just kept it simple....but they wouldnt. it would have too much electronics and always be in the shop :-)

Just my thoughts!

If it would come with the 'Courteous Driver Waiver' that the car drivers get when they buy one, it might be worth the possibly inflated price.

The "buy-me" (J. Joplin) drivers here in so cal don't have to:

~signal turns
~stop at stop signs
~signal lane changes
~use ash trays
~Signal anything else, ever
-look before opening door and getting out of the car into the traffic
~allow you the right-of-way, ever
~even slow down a little before that right on red thing
~Look or make the slightest effort to see if there is someone next to them while merging on the freeway
~comply with the hand-held phone ban
~and ultimately -give even the slightest crap about the rest of us commoners.

Ultimate Driving Machine owners get all of the above, plus they get to use all other traffic for slalom cones. They already have the bikes, though.

The MB might be a nicely built bike - kinda along the lines of the Victory tourer, sans the hideous looks.

Or not.

BMW was building bikes before they began building cars.
