I was impressed with how well this works.

Want to find out where your partner or employee is?
Wonder where your wife or husband is ?
Want to track his or her whereabouts?

Well, good ol' Google Earth just got better... type in his or her cell phone number and
you'll get the location of that person!

Click on Link Below:

Ok, Ok everyone has had their fun now, but the real question is, is there a way for civilians or most of "Us peoples" to be able to track the whereabouts of a cell phone?

theres a new company called trackback or some hooha like that running ads right now. And of course you could just get them a pair of the new NIKE sync shoes that record running workouts.... ie everywhere they walk, not real time, but it does establish a pattern that you can monitor. Theres some other good creepy stuff at your local spy store, but be prepared for litigation if you get caught using them inappropriately.

The new breed of credit cards also incorporate the same RFID protocol we use to track parts in power plants from manufacture in China to installation in NYC.

When the Fed Anti-Terrorism folks came to my house after following me for 8 weeks in response to a "seen with a really big camera" report they had an 8"x10" of my drivers license photo and had tracked every step via credit cards, cell phone and E-ZPass.

Anyone with a hankering to can tell where ANYBODY is. Am I the only person laughing about the world's most technically sophisticated country being unable to find Bin Laden?

Bin Laden must not have a "big camera", lol.

No. It's not just you.

We can't find him because he hasn't screwed up a tax return so they can't get him on attempted fraud : )

By the way . . . if you really want to get scared sometime . . . fire off some e-mails with some key words (you'll have to guess them) and see how long it takes to hear from someone.

During 2001 I was working for a company in NYC building a 42 story building in Times Square and had a Foreman who's last name was BOMBadier.

I'm not sure what the combination was but it obviously tripped someone's filter . . .

I'd bet you could say the same things on cell phones and get noticed at well . . . sign of the times.

Back on track.. sort of.. a buddy of mine has two teenage daughters. He's purchased them cell phones with all the 'hidden' nanny options he could get. Including what a lot of us would consider invasion of privacy features that the company doesn't put in their TV ads.

He says he can know where she it (as long as the phone in on) within a few hundred feet or less simply by logging into a site and pulling up the account. So yes there is. Before anyone goes off, it's legal since neither girl is of age and as a parent is legally allowed to monitor their whereabouts and who they are calling (the service gives him numbers dialed as well as text output from the phone - he cannot listen in on the calls or read both sides of a text communication). Not sure what company it was, but if you're a parent and your concerned about your kids I suppose you can check with your own provider to see what 'nanny' services they provide. Yes, at an additional cost.. of course.

Oh and in case you're wondering. The computer the girls use is in the living room and has all the site blocker and monitor software installed as well.

The funny thing about word filter algorithms is that anybody that is plotting to do anything really evil is minimally smart enough not to use the word like B*@mb in electric Communication.
Really gotta look for patterns in communications, scheduling, length, receiver and source.
A pizza ordered at 9:35 in the morning is odd on so many levels.

Yep true, I had a former co worker; he was getting phone calls in the morning about ordering hot dogs. Turns out the hot dogs were drugs and depending on what topping would depend on what kind of drug it was. Interesting concept, I would have never caught on if he wasn't ordering a ton of dogs every few weeks at 8am.
