The rider who is so dedicated to their brand that they never shut up about it. The Kawi freak that bleeds green. The Suzuki rider that cant say "G-S-X-R". The superintendant at my job is said guy. His custom hard tail has enough chrome to add 150lbs to the entire bike. Well today he asks me what model my machine is, then asks where it stands against the 1125CR. I said 3rd place from it in my mental Buell line up. 1125, 12, then of course would be my nine followed by X1M. He tells me how he test rode a CR. "Guy! I love the 110HP of my choppah(He's a Bostonian) but that red Buell put the fear of Gahd in me! I've been on my sons gen 1 `Busa but that 1125 is stupid fast. I had it pegging 7500 in 4th gear and was having trouble staying on, if your bike is half that thing you've gotta clank when you wahk!" I had the biggest smile all day, and I dont ever have a CR. |

Hmmm, I wonder if that guy knows the guy at my work that says he can wheelie HD Dyna at 70mph on the highway. It's putting out "atleast 120rwhp" from the Screaming Eagle Kit. |

I guess I'm "one of those guys" aka brand loyal.. - I've never seen a jap bike attract as much interest as my X1 does every time I take it out. - I hate working on jap cars, and I assume that the bikes would be an equal PITA. - I've never seen a jap bike set off car alarms with their exhaust note. - R1's and ZX6R's interest me somewhat, but strike me as being a waste if I'm not at the track every weekend. GSXR's and CBR's are out of the question for me simply because I don't want to see someone else riding the same bike I have. - At 21 years old, I'm not interested in owning a cruiser for the next 10+ years. - Italian bikes are out of my budget range Buell is about all that's left, and that's fine with me. |

Pkforbes87, I had the same dilemma when looking to replace my Uly. Ended up right back at Buell for the same reasons you posted. |

I'd pick the Busa if is was a straight track with top speed sections and the 1125R if it was a twisty and technical one. There is a difference between being an enthusiast and a PITA in all things. Whole life balance daniel-san. |

As I sit here typing I am wearing H-D boots, Triumph kevlar Jeans and a Buell Racing tee shirt. Motorcycle tragic promotes balance. shuh. |

Brand Loyal to Wilson's Leather, man. Leather jacket, leather pants, leather t-shirt, leather string-style man thong, all from Wilsons. I'm living to ride and riding to live and dressing for suchsex! |

brand loyalty is prominent among frightfully few steps down the slippery slope of prejudice and and blind, unquestioning adherence to any given set of principles, not at all unlike Islamic culture and belief systems |
