Watch the video, "he" passes a moto cop at one point and scoots away If you have been outa the US then the in and out in traffic is common in a lot of the world.
I don't mind going fast and being a hooligan but I choose to ride with people that have good Control of the machine doing wheelies and zipping through traffic like that is even fun at times . It just seems he revs the machine way to high and looses the rear wheel a couple times there as he doesn't seem to have good control of the clutch. He also doesn't seem to judge his stopping distance to good and if not for LUCK he would be a hood orniment. However I know some guys been getting through for a while with balls and luck and that guy does have plenty of both
I know when I was in korea it seemed every one on two wheels rides like that the only difference is they usually have boxes strapped to the back of the back higher than there heads.
a very old video.I remember it well.Had it on early CD.
It was shot in Greece and the rider was their national champion. The roads aren't wet,as i remember the dialogue. It was meant to show the poor road conditions.IIRC
There's a difference between sticking one's toes over or even stepping over a line and repeatedly doing a drunken broad jump across that line followed by a river dance thru the minefield on the other side while your boom box blares NWA's F the police.
On the topic of traction issues from the first video..... I LIVE THIS EVERYDAY. I ride in Turkey and the roads are very similar to those in Greece. In fact at first glance, I thought the video was shot in Turkey.
The roads might as well be ice. There is more marble in the road surface than there is any other substance. The first few weeks I was on the road out here I was scared for my life. The drivers obey NO LAWS. The roads are so slippery, even with both feet flat-footed at a stop light, the vibration of the XB would make my feet slide out from under me.
Makes me wonder what the Turk government does with the funds they collects on its 35% income tax..... surely they dont improve their roads!
