Why does the EPA make the manufactures go through these paces when most individuals replace the pipe when buying a new bike? | ||

I suspect most people don't replace the pipes after buying a new bike. I would bet that even the majority of Harley riders don't upgrade to new pipes. I could be wrong tho. | ||

Hey, cool! I'm one out of five.(Actually, I'm a whole lot more rare than that) I love quiet. I really like the new exhaust on the XB12. If I get one(XB), the aftermarket will have to find another way to suck the money from my wallet. (like good Hard Bags, or somethin') | ||

Crusty, gotta agree with you on the XB12 exhaust. I dont see why anyone would spend the $$$ to gain almost nothing except more noise. The stock muffler works & allows you to have a bit more fun without attracting the cops. | ||

Stealth mode when pushing the envelope on the road is a good thing. Saves on tickets and bullet holes. Then again, a Buell without a rumble never fully develops its character. Catch 22... |
