Does anyone know someone at Buell Hannover that I could get in touch with on this board or by e-mail that speaks English?

Brumbear, That would be great if you can. I e-mailed them in English but, I am not expecting a reply back. I would like to know how they mounted the Firebolt headlight assembly to their full fairing kit on what they are calling their 1125RR. I bought the same kit for my 1125R from Trojan Horse. I am about to be in the process of installing it. I could use any helpful info they may have on installing the kit, like brackets they made if any and pictures if they have them. If you can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Try "Dutch" in ATC.
I'm not sue if he posts there, still, but I recall him as having been employed at Hannover at some point, as he PMed me re: hooking up over there, 5 years back.

Cochise may be able to steer you to him, Dutch speaks perfect NATO English

Volker Schirmer at Buell Hannover speaks perfect English. I just talked to him last Tuesday. I had been corresponding with him (in English) via E-mail for about a week before that. The first message I sent in March just got answered in November, so it may be more difficult to communicate via E-mail.

Give Buell Hannover a call and ask for Volker (if he isn't the one answering the phone),

That's what I was going to say . . . I'd not be the least bit surprised to find that most of them speak English. I'd just pick up the phone.

I wouldn't worry about ATC at the moment. I've been offline since Nov 11.

I know very few folks in Germany who don't speak English...Even in the East, almost everyone under 30 speaks English.
Those who are self-conscious have fewer problems with email

Why not just go to an online translating source, or a simple dictionary (English and German are both in the Germanic linguistic family) and make a simnple request?

Does EVERYBODY need to speak our language?

http://www.freetranslation.com

You can get translations 1 paragraph at a time. Keep the wording simple and it works.

I collect cameras and buy from Germany, France, Spain (even England)!

It's not precise but it works.
