I LOVED P90X, I only done it for about 45 days and got sick and then several other things got in the way...been wanting to start back up.

The first night I did it, I couldnt sleep I hurt so bad. Couldnt walk right for the first week because my legs were so sore.
Plyo kicks your butt!!

As bad you will not want to do the yoga, you need to do it as well. It really helps with all the other workouts.

I didnt follow the diet plan very good but I still dropped weight quickly.

PM me your email I will send you an excel spreadsheet the goes along with P90X that we found on ebay.

I love yoga. I used to do "Hot" yoga in college as part of my wrestling training. I went to a couple of yoga sessions after college and it was just the not same.

I was used to a bunch of anorexic guys farting and groaning. I did not know what to think of all the, candles, hippies, new age music and really awkward conversations we people named Sky and Echo.

PM sent.

Keep us posted. I've seen that advertised and was actually curious.
However I'm too skeptical to try it myself

Not_purple_s2,
I was skeptical at first but once I tried it, I was telling everyone about it. If you follow the plan IT WORKS!

The following is another forum that I use to visit quiet often and a bunch of us started P90X around the same time and some of the guys posted their results. Read through it.

A few guys on there signed up to be coaches and you can order through them and get a small discount.

I've been preparing for about a month now on doing it. I got all the DVDs except Carsdio X ( downloaded on bittorrent), everlast chinup bar and 10 and 20 lb dumbells. I don't believe a friggin thing I see on TV, but a buddy recommended it, I researched it, and it looked solid and legit. I've cut back on smoking and junk foods for a month, taken nightly walks...etc. Good luck, let us know the results, hopefully I'll be starting here as soon as I download the last dvd.

Do any of you guys remember that old program called Cybergenics? It was probably popular in the mid '90s. There were a bunch of supplements that went with it that were probably a scam, but the workout and diet were brutal and 100% effective.

Somewhere I still have the workout journal, the before and after measurements, and the before and after pictures you were supposed to take. It's depressing to be confronted with the fact that I used to have a 32" waist and 19" arms.

They claimed you could gain 20 pounds of muscle in 60 days. I gained 17 and lost several inches off my waist. My workout partner didn't gain any weight, but he dropped about 4" off his waist and none of his t-shirt sleeves fit anymore.

I always thought those programs were a scam before that, but now I give most of them the benefit of the doubt.

A lot of the lessons I learned through that system are still a part of my workouts today.

Good luck with your program.

You should take a bunch of tape measurements post some detailed results.

Seeing the numbers change can really keep you motivated.

For Christmas I am getting myself Nutrisystems and the Beachbody dvd set.

Chunky and short is no way to go through life. (or so my doctor says)

I'd be all over the sequel.

The "Lets get is on" thread is down to 3 people posting.

I know I will wait until after the first of the year so I wont have any interruptions.

damn you turkey day!
