Turn on the oven til it's good & hot, then squirt a little oven cleaner in, not much, just a little.
Then when she gets home, "Honey I cleaned the oven for ya"
This covers the smell, get's you brownie points for trying, but you've done such a rubbish cleaning job she'll never ask you to do it again.
Result all round!

What is REALLY bad is finding out how well the dishwasher works for degreasing aluminum engine parts... and how difficult it is to get the taste out of the first load of dishes that come afterwards!

Slaughter now you know how I got caught!!! I even ran an empty load just to degrease the dish washer. The next load of dishes ended up with little black spots all over them which didn't get noticed until my wife had her morning bowl of cereal. It's funny now, actually it was pretty funny then too!

When I got my S1 in 96 I was living at the parents house. They were out of town for a week.

My buddy and I took apart our bikes and polished and waxed in the living room.

We used some spray wax and you couldn't get it off the lineoleum. It was deadly walking around in socks for months.
