That's funny. I remember discussing speed limits with a relative years ago in Italy. The Autostrada limit is officially about 130 or 140 kph. I was told that it really isn't enforced too strictly, so I asked what would happen if a Ferrari flew by at 250kph. He said half-jokingly that the police would salute.
